Djinn
Ignatio Djinn
The Clan of Infer is where these specific Ignatio Djinn hail from. They are avid about cleansing to the point that it is more of a ritual verses just want. They have the ability to set fire to energy as though it was fuel and it burns hotter than most of the volcanic areas around them in the astral. They set the fire and use it to cleanse the space around them and so they come to be asked for favors of deep cleansing. As they choose their clients very carefully, they do not take kindly to others coming in and demanding their services. They tend to be far gentler than most believe the Ignatio Djinn to be and so they end up choosing their clients based on that same need. They tend to look for the spirits that need them in order to give them the ability to start over with the energy around them. They have a their Masters do deep cleanings of whole towns and allow the younger Djinn to work on smaller spaces so they are not overwhelmed. Their Masters end up finding those Ignatio Djinn that show potential to take after them and request them to learn from them in order to continue the ancient teachings of their ancestors. The Clan of Infer have a flame that burns as an eternal symbol of their loyalty to Fire. The loyalty they have to the flame is the same they feel towards others. Being that they are willing to devote their teachings to those that are considered outsiders, they are willing to bring a small piece of that flame with them in order to teach others about the importance of both “life and death” of the flame. If you are considered to be sacred enough to learn from one of the Masters of the Clan of Infer, they undergo a long process that brings you closer to the way of their life. There are few outsiders that have ever undergone the teachings of this Clan and it is only something that can be chosen by the Masters. They have a long line of loyalty to those who are willing to learn the rigorous teachings of the Masters, as they have the ability to take away the same flame that is given to those who learn. This is a give and take that has been allowed by their Grand Master, who is the one who bestows their blessing upon the outsiders as well as the Masters themselves. While there are others that run the Clan, the Leaders and so forth, the Grand Master is the only one allowed to bestow the gift of Fire to whomever is deemed fit. These Ignatio Djinn are a loving community who enjoy, and prefer, to have intimate relationships over flings and tend to devote to their partner. While they are not known to only be monogamous, they have no issue being such, if both them and their partner agree to that.
Nu'lan'e (New-Lawn-e)
Nu'lan'e are a race of Demon/Djinn Hybrid warriors with an inkling of teaching. They are from a section in the astral realm that is not normally touched by human presence and instead they seek out their new charges. They study many forms of fighting to be the best warriors they can be. While they try to keep out of others problems in the astral, they do not have problems being hired to help in wars on going with other species. They have many classifications of Nu'lan'e that are and are not allowed to go to wars. The top being the Warrior EX classes, in which they are not asked to come to battle unless they are last resorts. Instead, these Nu'lan'e seek out the next level of their path, which is normally teaching in some aspect. When a Nu'lan'e decides to teach you, they do so to keep, better, or help you being your path. They do not take students willy nilly, instead they choose their new Charges and form long term, normally life long, bonds with them. Nu'lan'e are born with their hair almost nonexistent. As their hair begins to grow, it begins to weave itself together into what is called a Nyso. This is a whip that is made of their own energy and their hair, it is a very spiritual side of them and will protect them without the Nu'lan'e lifting a finger. It has a mind of its own, and is not to be touched by others unless it is the to be spouse of that Nu'lan'e. The Nyso, will not only defend its Nu'lan'e without them wanting it to, if the Nu'lan'e is threatened, the Nyso will become as sharp as a blade and will protect the host until the host is dead. This is one of the things that make Nu'lan'e unique warriors, they do not need to have someone with them in order to keep themselves safe, they were born with that safety.
Nordic Djinn
Nordic Djinn are from a specific part of the astral that is closely tied to both Niflheim and Midgard. They are born from Niflheim and end up either helping the other realms of the Yggdrasil. They tend to find their purpose wherever they are needed. The ones that travel to places like Helheim tend to help Hel gather souls that are attempting to run and bring them back to their proper place. When a Norse Djinn decides to settle in they will go out and search for a purpose. They know that a human will require their assistance and so they make sure to have that availability. Norse Djinn however do not choose multiple people to help at once. Once they have chosen to help you, you are bonded with each other for life unless there is a circumstance that changes that. In which one of the Norse Gods would have to severe the connection. It is an extreme case, but that is something that could happen if all requirements were met. It has happened with those that have worked with Hel and Odin, extreme cases but still had to be done. Norse Djinn however have a very specific way that they function and work with others. Nothing is just handed to you, you will have to work to make your dreams a reality. They do grant wishes, but if you are asking for a wish that is just impossible they will let you know with signs. They do not believe that you have the right to demand something without understanding everything that could come from that choice. But, once you have understood what they wanted you to learn you will begin to have the spoils that they can give. Norse Djinn have a very “rigid” way of behaving and responding to others, because they are normally in a very “professional” surrounding and will be sure that they are seen in the best light. Most will only try and “act silly” when they are home with someone they care about. Normally families or friends, but out in public they are “all work”.
