Søfï Ubi

Genetics:

Males- Incubi tend to stand at a tall 5'7-7'0 with a variety of different complexions. They normally have at least one set of horns that sit just along their temples with some having a few sets that round their face. While they have a variety of different colored eyes, it is less common to see one with colorful eyes like purple, red or green unless they are born with some form of "mutation". While it is more common to see them with short hair, those who can grow their hair longer are seen as a treasure as it is not often that the Søfï Incubi can grow their hair past their ears, not from a lack of trying but because their hair becomes brittle and breaks the longer it gets.

While it is not uncommon for Søfï Incubi to get tattoos or piercings, they most choose to do it when they are in their earlier years then when they are in later years. They tend to wear things that show off a fair amount of skin, or make them look very formal with very few overlap of just standard comfort.

Females- Succubi tend to stand much shorter than their counterparts at 5’4 to 6’0. They are also a variety of different complexions with more of a wide “base" to their body. They have not only “child bearing hips" but also a higher waist then their male counterparts. Unlike their counterparts, Succubi have two sets of horns, one set along their temple and one along the very tips of their ears that wraps along the back of their ear. While they have a variety of different colored eyes, it is less common to see a Succubi with darker colored eyes like brown and black unless they are born with some form of “mutation". While it is common to see the Succubi with all lengths of hair, they tend to wear it longer to have more to style and work with.

While it is less common to see a woman with tattoos, those that get them normally have a long history of the women in their family getting the same tattoo. Piercings are far more common than tattoos on a Søfï Succubi, with most of them having at least ten different piercings by the time they are ready to start a family. The Succubi tend to wear overly revealing clothing or overly covered clothing with no gap in between finding it more comfortable to be in longer sleeved outfits than is shorter ones.

Both- Both Male and Females have a form they are born in that allows them to eat sexual energy without having to be anywhere near a sexual act. In this first form, they are able to absorb excess sexual energy that is on their parents, or feeders, that is not used by the parent/feeder. It makes their skin almost like a sponge that soaks up the energy like water. When they become independent, their skin begins to turn into their normal skin of the second form, which cannot absorb all of the energy that they needed in the first form.

Temperament & Manifestations:

While they are very curious about the world around them and will question almost anything that they encounter, Søfï Ubi are fierce protectors. They have a high expectation of those around them to not only be respectful of the rules around them, but to also be mindful that at any moment they can ask an uninvited guest to leave and they would not care how rude they may seem. That being said they do so because they are wonderful energy readers. They know when it is time for someone to leave because those around them are starting to feel uncomfortable or know that someone is about to make a fool of themselves and wants it to stop before it becomes a problem.

The Søfï are caring in these matters, only wanting someone to make a fool of themselves when it proves a point or when they are not listening to the subject at hand. Since they are protective, they try not to mingle with other local spirits unless they are trades or sales people. They especially feel this way about unknown Ubi and will make “claims" to their “territory” to ward off other Ubi. This includes, but is not limited to applying a “do not interact” ward to all unknown Ubi, confronting unknown Ubi and telling them to leave, or informing you of the Ubi around you (that are not family) and suggesting a ward or banishment.

While around, the Søfï Ubi can easily make a room feel tense with energy, in a good way, or make you feel protected in a new surrounding. Since they are so protective of those around them, Søfï tend to check all around a new place for perceived treats. Going so far as to add a ward onto those around them until they leave the place perceived as dangerous. While they have the ability to make the room feel protected with just their energy alone, they do have a knack for making you feel more at peace when they are around. Søfï Ubi tend to subtlety manifest as orbs or gentle touches on your skin or even slight images in your head.

Society:

Higher Power: The Elders of the Søfï Ubi are those willing to learn of all of the stories of their people and spend it to those that will listen. Much like a story being passed down from one generation to another, Elders tell their stories to the next generation of Elders to continue the line. There are very few stories that are written down, and those that are tend to be the ones that are crucial to their way of life. This includes the story of their first cleansing ritual as well as their main cleansing needs, even the story if why they were “unclean" is part of their written text. But, anything that is a “normal" story, is just passed down by word of mouth and told to Søfï Ubi and other spirits alike.

Cleansing- Søfï Ubi have been called “unclean" from multiple different sources and have since developed their own cleansing techniques. While the source of being “unclean" is lost to most Søfï, with few Elders telling the story of the source, they do pride themselves on keeping their energy clean. Whether you decide to cleanse daily or not, Søfï Ubi have a nightly cleansing that they do and a small morning one. They do not like to be in spaces that are bogged down with negative energy and will begin cleansing at once if they are in that situation. If a space is too “dirty" for them to handle, they will inform you of that and head to their homeland until that space is cleansed.

Body Modification- When getting any sort of body modification it is done for the Søfï Ubi and not for others. No decent Søfï Ubi body modifier will tattoo or pierce anything that is being placed on the Ubi because of someone else. They are extreme when it comes to body modification, so much so, that Ubi normally get it done alone to avoid outside influence or a body modifier denying them what they want done. They do not allow names to be placed on the body and it is seen as a huge taboo to have someone's name placed on the body as it makes the Søfï Elders believe you were forced into something without consent and can cause a lot of problems if that wasn't the case.

Mating Habits:

Søfï Ubi tend to have multiple partners in their life with only the older Ubi deciding to settle down and start a family. Most Søfï have multiple "conquests" in their young adult years loving the ability to move from one mate to the next. But, when they are with someone they care about, they can stay loyal to that mate for years and can even turn that mate into their fated mate and love only them and be willing to start a family. While not all Søfï mate with their own species, they are asked to at least try to find a mate among the Søfï before committing to someone else.

Companionship:

In companionship, Søfï Ubi tend to take on new lovers to protect. Finding humans to be an interesting species they will tend to be around humans more so to protect them. Søfï Ubi are a fiercely protective species and as such they make great companions for those that feel they need to be protected. They enjoy being around companions that need their protective gifts so that they can help teach them how to protect themselves.

Søfï Ubi tend to thrive with a companion that has a rather active libido, be it from solo play or with another, they enjoy the energy that comes from that big moment. But, that is not to say they cannot be companions with someone who has a lower -or no- libido. In fact, they can thrive on platonic affection as well, and if they need a bigger “meal" they know where to get it. If you have issues with anything sexual, and want someone to help in anyway, Søfï Ubi are great listeners as well as experts when it comes to breaking down walls from sexual trauma.
