May the year bring you many blessings!

Mëtin'le

Mëtin'le are the “old school” cyber punk, they have used technology in a different fashion than that of humans. They have advanced far enough in technology that they have begun changing part of their body with that of synthetic mechanisms. They use cybernetics similar to how humans use tattoos, they are a symbol of themselves and is their way of expressions. Mëtin'le tend to be big technology buffs, having others come to them to fix things that others cannot and make their trade in the astral as cyber experts. There is no spirit species that have come to them that do not leave happy with what they got in their homeland. A lot of different Mëtin'le work on “simple” things like prosthetics that the owner of the prosthetic is often shocked that the limb or area changed is so lifelike. With the different things they work with, body modifications are their favorite with things like building weapons to be second best. Mëtin'le have a similar thing like “robotic showdowns” that are called Mëto (met-oh) which is when those that are interested build up their “competitor” and give them different modifications in order to win against the other team. This is that highlight and is normally held once a month so that they are able to build the new competitor, another Mëtin'le that wants to fight, and allows them time to relax as they are “modified”. But Mëtin'le are used to being something akin to engineers and enjoy trying new things as much as possible. They are “tinkerers” by trade really and use that tinkering love to make it, so they are able to make a living in their homeland. While Mëtin'le are not known to do things other than engineering and tinkering, they do have leaders and scholars that record the history of their people as well as teach the younger Mëtin'le how to exist in their society. Before what would be the human age of ten, the Mëtin'le are humanoid, and have no cybernetics, they tend to keep their young away from outsiders so that no one knows what they look like as children. After the age of ten, they are free to do “simple upgrades” that include, but are not limited to feet augmentation, hands to forearm and some more “daring” young Mëtin'le prepare to have themselves undergo lengthy procedures that take decades to finish. It is more uncommon to see a Mëtin'le without a modification than a child in their homeland goes through lengthy procedures. Cybernetics are their livelihood and try to include it into everything in their life. Having extensive technology in their homes to make their day-to-day life easier for them and those around them.
