Males- Male Light Seekers stand between 5'5" to 7'2". They tend to be on the leaner side with very few of them having a stocker build. They tend to keep their hair long, having it intricately woven into a braid and kept over their shoulder. They tend to have darker complexions, with lighter freckles covering certain areas of their body, normally along their upper body. They have long slender wings that are not flight worthy, but instead help them direct the energy around them to see an energetic map of their surroundings. This allows Light Seeker Males to move with ease when doing their duties as well as present them with a light blue aura when they are ready to mate.

Females- Female Light Seekers stand at 4'9" to 5'7". They, unlike their male counter parts, have more rounded features. from their hips to their faces, Females are just rounded. The highlight of their beauty is rounded faces, the more rounded, the more beautiful. Unlike their male counterparts, Female Light Seekers have short slender wings that do not go past their butts, their wings are also not flight worthy. The difference in wings changes the way that Female Light Seekers are able to see, they have a much closer radius of energy unlike the males. Because of this, Females cannot see as far as their male counterparts and are normally home bodies to keep safe. While it is uncommon to see a female out and about outside of their homeland, it is not impossible.

Both- Light Seekers are naturally blind, with a light clouding over their natural eye color. While they do not know what colors their eyes are normally, other local spirits they bond with will tell them their eye color if asked. That being said, they are still able to see pretty well in their own way and are normally seen wearing some sort of dark tinted glasses or ribbons across their face to hide their eyes from others.

With Light Seekers being more reserved in nature, it is hard to understand why they are on the sliding scale of grey alignment, until you watch them in action. Their curse removal tends to be something that throws the curse back at the one who sent it with a bit of an extra zing. While they do not curse themselves, they have a knack for being able to repel it back with an extra oomph. But, when they are not doing anything with curses, they are very mild mannered. Curious about the world around them and fluttering their wings so they can experience it. They adore conversation, even if it is just mindless, it is something they love to engage in.

While they are able to navigate life with relative ease, they have found that being extra gentle has its advantages. When someone is upset or injured, they have a calming presense that can sooth those in distress and bring a sense of peace in the rooms they are in. Their curious nature brings forth the ability to see anything they get their hands on in a new light. Even something as simple as a gemstone can have them mesmerized as they learn about it and why they were drawn to it to begin with.

When manifesting around, Light Seekers tend to make a room feel at peace just by entering it. They are able to make those around them feel a sense of calm, especially when the room has anxious energy. Since they see energy differently they do not like the tense energy of anxiety and tend to attempt to dissipate that energy and replace it with a more grounded energy. Light Seekers tend to manifest more subtly as a breath of fresh air that you didn't know you needed, as blue and silver orbs. As light touches on your shoulders, arms and hands. As gentle pats on the head and as gentle smells like lavender and sandalwood.

Higher Power- Light Seekers have a deity they call Tok'aoha. They are the first light giver and someone who was considers a mighty healer among the Light Seekers. Legend has is when Tok'aoha made their appearance known, blue and silver flowers would bloom under the feet of Light Seekers that were nearby. Since Light Seekers have other spirits living around them, that is when the first Light Seekers found out the colors. The way their wings work, the Light Seekers were able to see a new energy that pulsed around them when Tok'aoha was around. They had a sense of completion and prayed that Tok'aoha would bring the wisdom that they all sought out. While Light Seekers continue to pray to Tok'aoha, they now honor them by housing a small altar with anything blue and silver that they can get their hands on.

Cleansing- Light Seekers are rather particular about how they cleanse spaces. They normally start with a deep cleansing, cleansing any and all negative energy away from their spaces and then deep cleansing weekly. When they feel their space is bogged down with negative energy, Light Seekers will send out pulses from their wings that admit a high cleansing energy to help dispel negative energy around them and have it absorb into the ground and then pulls positive energy towards them. This is where they get their name from, as they look as though only light can touch them as they do this.

Body Modification- Light Seekers tend to only get piercings, if any, for body modification. Since they cannot see tattoos, it is irrelevant for them to get tattoos. With piercings, they are more styled to be felt, and to be simple, like bars and studs. They have no want for shiny, as they do not see it shiny. Instead, they will get simple, but elaborate, studs and bars along their ears. They use these piercings to get a sense of their partner, as the more simple the design the more rigid the person and the more minor details to the piercing the more whimsical. The normal places they pierce are the ears, cheeks, lips, and the space between the fingers; that bit of skin that is there. Those who get piercings on the chest, or lower region are considered indecent by Light Seekers' standards, though that doesn't mean they don't do it.

Mating Habits: Light Seekers tend to vary partner to partner. Not having issue with same sex couples, they are more free to date whomever they would like. With same sex couples comes the responsibility to conceive by energy and continue to reproduce children. Where those of opposite sex couples have no responsibility as it would happen as it would. Same sex couples are acrually seen as a blessing to the Light Seeker community, as they are able to continue the species even if all heterosexual couples were to pass on. When it comes to picking a life long partner, there is an entire mating ritual that has to take place, which starts with a three year long courting and then the partners asking the parents if they are blessed to be married. If just simply dating around, it is seen more as disgraceful if a Light Seeker is with a partner for years and have not decided to become life ling partners.

Companionship: In companionship, Light Seekers are always looking to expand their knowledge. They would love to be there for their companions in as many ways as possible. They make excellent companions if you are a curse worker or are someone plagued with curses, as they work undo them if requested. If you are someone who has a hard time looking at your own shadow and doing the work needed to make yourself better, Light Seekers are going to be that constant reminder that it will suck to begin with, but you will do better after it is done. They will not induce shadow work, but they will show you different reasons why you need it done as well as help you through it when you are ready. They seek companions willing to learn and willing to better themselves along the way.
