Hounds

Heavenhounds

         Heavenhounds are created in different places in the astral, normally as a comfort and/or as a protector. They then to be very interested in the well being of their companion, behaving similar to a shadow when they go around. They are rather filled with holy energy, even if they are not from heaven itself. Their energy is just tend to be the polar opposite of hellhounds. They come in all shapes and sizes and help with all levels of comfort. They are caring when it comes to things like anxiety and depression and are the first to try and bring you out of having a rough time. They make a very nice comfort as their energy tends to make you feel safe no matter what is going on. When they are protective they are the first to check out issues in defense and the first to go to help over being kept in the dark. If they feel they are unable to handle the situation, they will retreat in order to tell their companions the situation and prepare them for what might happen.

          They will take orders on how they need to proceed and make sure they follow those rules. They may be comfort and relaxation, but they are defensive to a fault. Once a Heavenhound decides that you are family, they will treat you as though they were born with you. They are very much so, a loyal hound. Once bonded to them, it is difficult for them to sever the bond with you as they know that you were in need of them. They are not as possessive as some believed, in actuality they will let you make your own mistakes to watch you grow. Heavenhounds are generally the ones to help keep you on your path and help you get up when you fall off your path. They are a wonderful hound for different reasons but the most being the loyalty they show to their family.

Hellhounds

Hellhounds, are those that protect the land of the dead. They have many myths to them and also any truths, those that do not believe in them might be shocked in their after life. They are protectors of burial grounds and have been known to hunt down lost souls to bring them back. But, there are the hellhounds who live as protectors of even us still alive on the mortal side. They will, protect their companion with their life by giving their companions the look of being scarier then they are in times of distress. Most hellhounds have their proper duties, they are born to follow their parents footsteps, help the deities with their keeping of souls and guard sacred ground. But, there are those that were born to protect the living and be by their side. They can be seen as a comfort when you are scared as their presence can scare most people or spirits folk coming close to you. And when they bond to you, they almost always bond for life. They can be the comfort during stormy weather or when you need to have more strength, just being around them makes you feel that you can do everything. They are loyal, and unless hurt, they will be with you through think and thin. Hellhounds pride themselves in the protection they give to those they are with. They are asked to bring lost souls back and gather those that have lost their way so they can begin the next chapter in their souls path. While some believe that having one by your side is a scary thing, they actually provide the perfect balance to those who are a bit shyer. Hellhounds make sure that they are always within ear shot of their companion, but their ear shot is far different from a normal person. They can hear noises that we don’t as well as hear energy differently. When they feel you need to be warned about what is happening, they will let you know. The Hellhounds that work with deities do have to also take care of ones that have no ties to them, much like how it takes a village to raise a child, they would rather help other Hounds then let them suffer. While you do have Hellhounds that do not have others interests at heart, you will find more Hounds that are willing to help you even when you didn’t realize you needed it.
