Dreamweaver

Dreamweavers are spirits who have learned the old ways of working with dreams. They have been known for centuries as the “saviors" of dreams as they constantly come to the aid of others who wish to rid themselves of nightmares. They have honed their skills doing this by using their weaving skills to remove nightmares from spirits or, in some cases, give them. They have long since stopped offering their services for giving nightmares as they found that those nightmares taste “sweetest" when they are natural nightmares and not weaved ones. So they began to use their dreamweaving ability to help others out why dream interpretation and using what they weave to help others cope with what has been bothering them. The Dreamweavers have nestled themselves in a place in the astral that allows the to not only stay within their home safely, but also be able to leave and help others in neighboring towns. They have been called “dream travelers” or “dream walkers” though they do not travel or walk through dreams, instead they use the weaving tattoos that are on them to weave dreams or the energy of the dreams into something they can “read” or “see” and then they can pull it apart before putting back in the energy that is calming and nurturing.

The Dreamweavers thrive on that “bad” energy of nightmares and sort of do the same thing as plants and take in the negative energy and create positive energy. So they give that positive energy out and take in the negative one. The Dreamweavers do know how to do other things other than weave dreams, but it is all outlets that allow them to use their abilities to the best they can. They have the element of air on their side and using it is how they are able to Dreamweave at the lengths in which they can, normally stretching somewhere over a few miles. The Dreamweavers have long since forgot that their magic is something of old that is not used nor seen around this life any longer. They are dotted all over the astral but their homeland is something that they have long since “forgotten”, but for good reason, their homeland holds their energy and having all Dreamweavers forget once they have left makes it so they cannot be hunted down to extinction.
